Carmov ("we", "us") is a vehicle movement platform operated by Letsbenchit Ltd. We connect customers who need a vehicle moved or assisted ("Customers") with independent, verified operators who carry out the work ("Operators"). Carmov is a technology platform; the recovery, transport or roadside work itself is performed by the Operator.
Prices are quoted up front before you book and are fixed for the job as described. If the actual job differs materially from what was booked (for example a non-runner declared as a runner, or extra equipment required), the price may be adjusted or the job declined.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By booking you authorise the charge for the quoted amount. An invoice/receipt is issued for every completed job.
Vehicles are released to the Operator using a unique collection PIN supplied to the Customer. Photographs and, where applicable, a signature are captured at collection and delivery as proof of condition and handover.
Operators are independent businesses. Before accepting jobs they are verified by us (ID, insurance and vehicle documents reviewed). Operators are responsible for carrying out work safely, legally and with appropriate insurance.
Jobs may be cancelled before an Operator is en route. Cancellation charges may apply once an Operator has been dispatched, to cover their time and travel.
We facilitate the connection and payment but do not ourselves carry out the physical work. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the affected booking. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law.
